REVIEW OF RESULTS

If you would like to use any post result services for your exam results please scan the QR code enclosed with your exam results on results day. Alternatively, please complete the form below.

If you are unhappy with your exam result(s) you can ask for a clerical check or a review of marking (both priority and non-priority). Additional information surrounding fees and deadlines can be found below. All requests for post-results services must go through the Examinations team at Weston College, who will make requests to the awarding bodies on your behalf. Grade protection does not apply for any post-results service which means that candidates’ marks and subject grades may be lowered, confirmed, or raised as a result.

You will receive a refund of the paper(s) IF the overall grade is changed.

FAQS

A clerical check of a marked paper will ensure:
- All the pages were marked
- All the marks were counted
- The result matches the marks on the paper.

There is a selection of either a priority review of marking (usually for those who are urgently awaiting on result to attend higher education) or a non-priority review of marking. Review of marking is carried out to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly and includes a clerical check.

Access to scripts is a service that allows Weston College view your marked scripts online or download as a PDF. If you would like to see a copy of your marked scripts, then you will need to contact the Examinations department via email – exams.admin@weston.ac.uk

- Which marked exam scripts you would like a copy of

One Message, Different Voices

Take a look at this powerful film made by the staff of Weston College to show how important it is for everyone from different backgrounds to be included. The film shares heartfelt stories and interviews with a diverse group of staff, showing how accepting different identities and backgrounds can make a big difference. Its purpose is to encourage viewers to think about their own biases and work towards making our community more welcoming to all. We invite everyone, regardless of their background, to join us and be a part of our journey toward a more inclusive future.

Halo workplace logo

Our workplace champions the right of staff to embrace all Afro-hairstyles. We acknowledge that Afro-textured hair is an important part of our Black employees’ racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identities, and requires specific styling for hair health and maintenance. We celebrate Afro-textured hair worn in all styles including, but not limited to, afros, locs, twists, braids, cornrows, fades, hair straightened through the application of heat or chemicals, weaves, wigs, headscarves, and wraps. In this workplace, we recognise and celebrate our colleagues’ identities. We are a community built on an ethos of equality and respect where hair texture and style have no bearing on an employee's ability to succeed.
