Build your Brand and Maximise your Marketing

This training sessions is part of Workforce for the Future, which Weston College is delivering on behalf of the West of England Combined Authority in collaboration with other regional partners. The West of England Workforce for the Future programme has received £4m of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority for the England European Social Fund programme. Established by the European Union, the European Social Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations. After the success of Philippa’s first workshop, she’s back to deliver her second ‘Build your Brand Maximise your marketing’ workshop!  

Your host for the session, Founder of Insight101, has worked for some of the leading global brands over the last 25 years including Ford Motor Company, Levi’s and Clarks Shoes. With her unique insight into brand, consumer needs and behaviour, she has dedicated her career to building sustainable and consistent brand dialogues with teams internally and clients externally.

Insight101 is a brand-led marketing consultancy with a mission to support businesses in defining and communicating their unique place in the sector to attract and retain strong talent. Her last presentation was at the QuickBooks conference at Olympia where she talked to accountants about how they can move from dull to dazzling.  

Your brand is crucial to effective marketing. And marketing, targeted and inspiring marketing, is one of the most important tools in your toolbox to grow your business and attract the right clients who will love and be loyal to your brand.  

Over the last 18 months, we've experienced tremendous change and a massive reliance on technology. Digital has finally transformed our businesses and with this change comes a need to have a digital as well as an in-person presence. Your brand and your marketing will be your way of connecting with potential clients when you are not in the physical room.  

During this workshop, you'll hear 2 brand stories that will take you through the branding process and, most importantly, talk you through the results - followed by lunch and networking opportunities. The session will allow ample time to ask yourself, as the business owner, some important questions so that you can get your brand and your message right. We'll look at your offer, your unique difference, your position vs. the competition and your ideal client. We'll look at how you can start to craft your brand vision and values too.  

You'll leave with a brand blueprint template (hopefully some of it filled in) and the memory of 2 compelling brand stories that will give you inspiration and guidance for your own future journey.  

Lunch and refreshments to be provided throughout the morning.
