Introduction to Hair and Media Make-Up

Perfect for anyone curious about starting a creative career in the Hair, Beauty and Make-up Media industry.

This hands-on workshop offers a first look at the essential skills used in professional hair styling and make-up for TV, film, fashion, and more. It’s a great chance to experiment with industry tools, discover new techniques, and see what it’s like to learn in a supportive, studio-style environment.

Whether you’re exploring a new passion or considering a future qualification, this workshop is the ideal way to experience the course and find out if it’s right for you!

*You will need to bring your own make-up brushes*

 

Introduction to Hospitality and Catering

Perfect for anyone interested in discovering what it’s like to work in a fast-paced, creative, and highly rewarding industry!

This workshop offers a behind-the-scenes look at professional kitchens and front-of-house environments, with the chance to try out practical skills, explore culinary techniques, and learn about the standards used in real hospitality settings.

It’s a great opportunity to meet experienced staff, ask questions, and get a feel for the course before committing to a full programme. Whether you’re passionate about food, curious about customer service, or considering a career in catering, this workshop gives you the perfect introduction!

*Long hair will need to be tied up*

 

Introduction to Education and Early Years

Learners will take part in a range of practical, playful, and sometimes messy activities designed to mirror real Early Years practice. From exploring sensory play to creating learning-rich environments, this session offers a fun and engaging opportunity to experience the creativity, curiosity, and teamwork involved in working with children.

Spaces are limited, so get booked in and let’s see what you can do.

  1. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy
  2. Sturdy, flat footwear required!
  3. Bring a packed lunch (canteen closed during half-term)

Strict health & safety rules apply. Failure to follow them will result in removal from the workshop.
