Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)

Our Learning Support Assistants provide tailored, in-class support across Knightstone, Loxton, and South West Skills campuses.

We will identify where learning support assistants need to be to support whole groups or individual learners. They work with students in both practical and theory sessions, offering help when needed and encouraging independence wherever possible.

LSAs support learners with:

  • Understanding tasks and assignments
  • Staying focused and organised
  • Building confidence in lessons and on work placements
  • Accessing exam arrangements and other adjustments

They work closely with teaching staff and build positive relationships with students, creating a trusted space where learners feel comfortable asking for help.
