Quality & Learning Team Job Vacancies

The Quality team at Weston College plays a crucial role in supporting, developing, and improving teaching, learning and assessment practice across the organisation. Key functions that support curriculum managers and leaders to drive continuous improvement include:

  • Innovation in Teaching, Learning and Assessment (inc. Digital Technologies)
  • Learning Review Activity – Learning walks, learning talks and work reviews
  • Developmental Observations
  • Quality Review Activities
  • Staff training and CPD
  • Curriculum Development
  • Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Planning
  • Stakeholder feedback

The quality team consists of ten personnel covering a variety of roles, responsibilities and specialisms:

  • Vice Principal - 16 to 19 and Quality
  • Quality Administrator
  • Head of Quality Improvement
  • Five TLA Managers: Induction, Mentoring and Awarding Bodies, CPD & TLA, Work-based Learning, ID skills and Tutoring, World Skills and Excellence
  • Programme Lead Initial Teacher Education
  • TLA Coach
