Scaffolder Apprentice at CRBS (SW) LIMITED
Responsibilities
Initially, the apprentice will work as a scaffold labourer, which includes:
- Loading lorries in the morning
- Unloading and organising materials on-site
- Passing equipment and materials to the lead scaffolder
- Learning the modular scaffolding system
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- The most important expectation is reliability. Turning up consistently and on time is essential. Safety is a top priority, both for themselves and others

CRBS (SW) Ltd is a CITB registered professional industrial, commercial and domestic scaffold hire company providing tube and fit scaffolding and access solutions and delivering excellent service, safety and quality to a wide range of clients across the south of the UK.

Our clients include organisations and business of all sizes including the Lancer Scott, Environment Agency, Suez Recycling and Recovery UK Ltd and Historic England.
From a very basic tower to the most complicated scaffold structure CRBS can provide the solution to enable safe access to complete wide ranging work in all sectors.
Apprentices will be overseen directly by CRBS Directors. They take an active role in mentoring and supporting apprentices.
Training includes:
- On-the-job learning with experienced scaffolders
- Regular toolbox talks
- PPE and health & safety awareness
- Support from qualified scaffolders, advanced scaffolders, and trainers
- Support through an Assessor at Weston College.
- Block release - your college attendance will be 5 X 2-week blocks
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, opportunities include:
- Fully qualified scaffolder (Blue Card holder)
- HGV licence (subject to driving ability and commitment)
- Progression to Advanced Scaffolder
- Ongoing asbestos awareness and additional work-related training

£16,640 a year
