Matt

Matt has been Director of Public Health and Regulatory Services at North Somerset Council since 2019. His career has included working in public health at local, regional and national level within local authorities, the NHS and the Department of Health and Social Care.

He has a strong interest in communications and marketing, children’s public health and community development and has previous experience as a schools Governor. He is a visiting Professor at the University of the West of England.

Matt is passionate about the power of building good health and wellbeing through education and supporting the development of all our children and young people.
