A STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO JOIN US

STEP 1

DO YOUR RESEARCH

Read about the study programmes in this guide, and in much more depth on our website. Looks for ones that match your skills and interests.

We can help you see if there will be jobs in the future for this pathway by using Career Coach on our website.

STEP 2

APPLY ONLINE

Find your chosen subject area on the website (you can apply for more than one), click on the apply button - this will add it to your basket.

STEP 3

ATTEND GUIDANCE INTERVIEW

You will be sent an email with details on how to access your interview, which will take place via Microsoft Teams. This meeting is an opportunity for us to ask you some questions, and for you to ask us some – this helps make sure we get you on the right programme.

STEP 4

ACCEPTING YOUR OFFER OF PLACE

After your interview, we will email you with an offer of place.

You will be able to respond to your ‘Offer/s of Place’ by logging into your account and checking your ‘Next Steps’.

STEP 5

SECURE YOUR PLACE BY ENROLLING

Once you have accepted your offer of place you will be sent details about how to enrol online and secure your place at Weston College.

STEP 6

BECOMING PART OF TEAM WESTON

We recognise that joining college and starting a new programme can be a big step. Therefore, as soon as you have completed your online enrolment we put on a range of events and activities and communication.

STEP 7

CURRICULUM CONFIRMATION

Following your GCSE results we invite you to attend your curriculum confirmation appointment to review your results and confirm the programme you will study with us.

STEP 8

INDUCTION

All new students go through a helpful induction which will start shortly after your curriculum confirmation appointment.
