Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship at BAKER HUGHES ENERGY TECHNOLOGY UK LIMITED
- Learn to assemble, wire, test, and inspect products in line with technical drawings
- Work across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Follow manufacturing processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Support fault finding down to module/sub-assembly level
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and pressure sensors
- Assist with product system setup and testing
- Learn high voltage, pressure, and hydraulic testing processes
- Develop understanding of software, firmware, and industrial systems
- Use business IT systems including engineering documentation and quality systems
