Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship at BAKER HUGHES ENERGY TECHNOLOGY UK LIMITED

  • Learn to assemble, wire, test, and inspect products in line with technical drawings
  • Work across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Follow manufacturing processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Interpret engineering drawings and documentation
  • Support fault finding down to module/sub-assembly level
  • Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and pressure sensors
  • Assist with product system setup and testing
  • Learn high voltage, pressure, and hydraulic testing processes
  • Develop understanding of software, firmware, and industrial systems
  • Use business IT systems including engineering documentation and quality systems
