Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprentice at SMART SYSTEMS LIMITED

  • Support machine setup, changeovers, and daily production activities
  • Assist with fault finding, maintenance, and calibration of equipment
  • Help ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
  • Work with the team to meet production targets and priorities
  • Record maintenance activities and update systems where required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving tasks
  • Follow all health & safety and GMP procedures at all times
  • Use PPE correctly and maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Assist with risk assessments and safe working practices
  • Report accidents, near misses, and hazards promptly

  • Receive one-to-one and team-based training in mechatronics and engineering processes
  • Gain hands-on experience with CNC machinery and production equipment
  • Work towards a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician qualification
  • Pay increases upon completion of the apprenticeship
