FAQ's

If you don’t get what you feel you deserved, and you want to dispute this then you will need to go back to your schools and talk to them about this.

Don’t panic, this will not affect your chances of getting onto a study programme with us but we may have to reassess which level of study programme you begin in September. You may need to retake your Maths and English GCSE.

If you did not achieve a grade 4 or above in maths and/or English, we will still be able to offer you a place on the course, it might just be starting at a different level. You will not need to do anything about this on Results day, we will automatically move you up or down a Level at your Curriculum Confirmation appointment, letters will be going out about these in August so look out for that.

If you received access arrangements at school, please mention this when you enrol.

A referral will be made to our Exam Access Arrangement Team who will endeavour to assess you prior to your exam.

Please note that exam access arrangements are awarded in line with our Exam Access Arrangement Policy, assessment by college staff is always required before concessions are applied for and you may not be allocated the same arrangements that you had in school.

Yes – you will be asked to confirm you need this during the enrolment process.

All Maths and English learners are required to attend two 1.5 hour lessons on a weekly basis (per subject). If it is necessary for you to retake both this will be built into your study programme.

Yes, you can either apply using the website in the usual way or give us a call on 01934 411411 on Results day and we will do our best to help resolve your query.
