Review of Results
If you would like to use any post result services for your exam results please scan the QR code enclosed with your exam results on results day. Alternatively, please complete the form below.
If you are unhappy with your exam result(s) you can ask for a clerical check or a review of marking (both priority and non-priority). Additional information surrounding fees and deadlines can be found below. All requests for post-results services must go through the Examinations team at Weston College, who will make requests to the awarding bodies on your behalf.Grade protection does not apply for any post-results service which means that candidates’ marks and subject grades may be lowered, confirmed, or raised as a result.
You will receive a refund of the paper(s) IF the overall grade stays the same or goes up.
A clerical check of a marked paper will ensure:
- All the pages were marked
- All the marks were counted
- The result matches the marks on the paper.
There is a selection of either a priority review of marking (usually for those who are urgently awaiting on result to attend higher education) or a non-priority review of marking. Review of marking is carried out to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly and includes a clerical check.
Access to scripts is a service that allows Weston College view your marked scripts online or download as a PDF. If you would like to see a copy of your marked scripts, then you will need to contact the Examinations department via email – exams.admin@weston.ac.uk
Please include:
- Full name
- WS number
- Date of birth
- Which marked exam scripts you would like a copy of
We cannot access scripts unless written permission from the candidate is received.
Please note that your request has not been confirmed until payment has been made. Once a submission has been entered then you will receive an email within 1 working day to direct you to our secure webpage to arrange payment, once payment has been made we will then be able to act submit on your behalf. Please check the website below for deadlines for the above services.
This service is the same as “Review of Marking” but is processed faster. This is generally used when a learner’s place in further / higher education depends on the outcome.
