NOVEMBER GCSE EXAMS

To students who are sitting GCSE exams in November, here is some useful information that may help:

GCSE Exam Dates

English

  • Paper 1 – Tuesday 4th November 9am
  • Paper 2 – Thursday 6th November 9am

Maths

  • Paper 1 (Non-Calculator) –Wednesday 5th November 9am
  • Paper 2 (Calculator) – Friday 7th November 9am
  • Paper 3 (Calculator)– Monday 10th November 9am

If you are sitting GCSEs during November, will receive letters with important information about your upcoming exams. These letters will include details such as the location of your exam, the subjects you will be taking, and any agreed-upon access arrangements. Please make sure to bring these letters with you on the day of your exam.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time do I need to be there?

Please arrive at 08:30am, all exams will start at 9am. If you are running late on the day of the exam, please inform reception at 01934 411411.

Where do I need to go?

Your exams letter will include the location of your exam room. Please note that room changes cannot be made on the day of the exam. If you have any questions about Exam Access Arrangements or would like assistance finding your exam room, please contact the Examinations Office before Friday, November 1st.

What do I need to bring?

  • Your exam letter, and ID either your student ID Card, Passport, or driving license
  • Your own equipment: See-through Pencil Case, Pens, Highlighter, Pencil, Rubber, Ruler, Protractor, Compass and Calculator (if allowed)
  • Water in a clear bottle with the label already removed

Do I have to go to my afternoon classes?

All afternoon classes will run as normal, you are expected to attend.

Access to scripts (ATS) –DEADLINE FRIDAY  12th DECEMBER 2025

If you would like a free downloaded copy of your marked script please contact the Examinations department directly via email to exams.admin@weston.ac.uk . Please note that we cannot access your scripts unless we have written permission from individual candidates.

  • 09:00 Thursday 14th August until 12 noon Friday 15th August (Level 3 results)
  • 09:00 Thursday 21st August onwards (Level 1, 2, 3 results)
