If you're considering a career in the trades or just want to try something new, join us for a hands-on workshop that gives you a real taste of the construction industry.

📍 South West Skills Campus, Locking Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 8NL
Morning: Brickwork Session - build a pyramid, lay a straight wall, and take on a corner like a pro-in-training. We’ll test your speed, accuracy, and technique, think of it as a real-life building challenge, minus the dramatic music.
Afternoon: Carpentry Session - Grab your tools and cut your first joint. Show off your precision, and if you smash it, you’ll make something you can take home.
By the end of the day, you’ll know exactly what it’s like to work in construction. Spaces are limited, so get booked in now!
Whether you have already applied for a course or not, this is a perfect chance to explore more options.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy
- Sturdy footwear required
- Bring a packed lunch (canteen closed during half-term)
Strict health & safety rules apply. Failure to follow them will result in removal from the workshop.
