Through this partnership, Rotamec will play a pivotal role in co-designing the engineering training provision, creating an inspiring learning experience, and equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the business and wider industry.
Celebrating Women in Engineering
June 23rd marks an important day on the calendar for the engineering community and beyond – International Women in Engineering Day. This annual event serves as a powerful reminder of the contributions, achievements, and ongoing challenges faced by women in the field of engineering. It is a day to recognise and celebrate the remarkable women who have shattered glass ceilings and challenged stereotypes, while also highlighting the ongoing efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the engineering profession.
Sustainability Conference and Beach Clean!
This week, Weston College have hosted two events focusing on sustainability; a Community Beach Clean on Monday 24th April and a Sustainability Conference on Thursday 26th April.
Both events’ main aim was to educate those in attendance on the importance of sustainability, through interactivity, guest talks and informative resources.
Planet Earth Games!
Weston College recently took part in the 2023 Planet Earth Games, an Association of Colleges (AoC) competition which uses games and challenges to engage colleges and students in climate action.
