I am 21 years old, currently working in a local Law Firm in my hometown and have been since November 2017. Before working at my firm, I had previously been a lifeguard and worked throughout the summers at a restaurant. Outside of work, my hobbies include Yoga, walking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

I have an A-Level in Law which I obtained from Richard Huish College when I attended in 2015 – 2017.

Matt graduated with a degree in Animation Production from Arts University Bournemouth. He started working with 2017, specialising in art and design, media, and animation.

As a kid my favourite toys were Lego and Meccano, I loved designing, building and improving things and that passion has never really gone away. I got into construction as site carpenter initially, before diversifying into general construction and managing projects for myself and for local companies. Whilst I really enjoy all the hands on practical skills that come with construction, I also really enjoy the behind the scenes stuff, getting involved with design, architecture, quantity surveying and management, as it's all these elements which make a project successful too.

I retrained as a Plumber just over 16 years ago and I have been teaching for 11 years! I worked at another local college for 6 years and have been in my role as Plumbing Lecturer at Weston College for 5.

What inspires me the most about working in education is seeing a learner succeed after giving their all even if they might struggle, seeing them never give up and gain their qualifications is truly incredible!
