The Level 3 Fashion and Textiles learners have been building on their skills, making dresses, and working with porcelain in our professional ceramics studio to create some beautiful jewellery including brooches, earrings, and necklaces!

Local Dressmaker Inspires the Next Generation of Seamstresses!

Our Fashion and Textiles learners at Loxton Campus had the amazing opportunity of hosting a guest lecture from local business owner and dressmaker, Abigail Westrup.  

Interior Systems Installer Apprenticeship

This occupation is found in the Construction and Built Environment industry including new-build, renovation and refurbishment. It is a specialist contracting occupation largely involved in the construction of partitions, walls and ceilings. The Interior Systems sector alone has over 35,000 operatives working on extremely diverse projects in hotels, schools, airports, football stadiums, hospitals, shopping centres. However other projects may mean working on security controlled installations such as Military Bases which may never be seen or used by the public.

Sports Coach, Apprenticeship

The role of Sport Coach is to use extensive technical and tactical sports knowledge and skills to design and deliver coaching programmes that engage, motivate and evolve participants’ skills and performance.

This apprenticeship will equip aspiring coaches to provide meaningful and high-quality learning, development and performance experiences. They support the achievement of medals in talent, national and international competition, enrich performance in local competitions, increase participation, raise educational standards, enhance wellbeing and drive social change.

Nursing Associate

The Nursing Associate Foundation Degree Apprenticeship will allow the trainee to work under the leadership and direction of the Registered Nurse in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. The programme aims to produce compassionate, competent and confident NMC Registered Band 4 Nursing Associates. They will be able to practise safely and effectively within the parameters of practice, demonstrating appropriate values and behaviours in a wide range of health and social care settings.

Learning Mentor, Advanced Apprenticeship

Learning Mentors support learners of all ages, and all levels, to develop within a new work role. These learners may be, for example, apprentices, trainees or new recruits in the workplace, or in any vocational learning environment.

HR Consultant, Higher Level Apprenticeship

What will I do on this course?

You will be in a role using your HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR solutions to business challenges. You’ll also give tailored advice to the business in a number of HR areas, typically to midlevel and senior managers.

The role may be one of generalist, providing support across a range of HR areas – likely to be the core HR option - or a specialist role, where there is an in depth expertise in a specific area of HR – likely to be resourcing, total reward, organisation development, or HR operations.

Housing and Property Management Assistant

This apprenticeship has been developed to prepare an apprentice for a supporting operational role within the housing/property management sector. The core of the apprenticeship, however, has been established to provide occupational grounding in the sector. It has been developed to meet the needs of housing/property professionals within the private and affordable housing sectors and is applicable to all sizes of organisation.

The apprenticeship has been developed to prepare an entrant to an operational role within the housing/property management sector. The potential range of roles available is varied and some require a degree of specialisation. The core of the apprenticeship however has been established to provide an occupational grounding in the sector. The apprenticeship has been developed to meet the needs of housing/property professionals within the private and affordable housing sectors, applicable to all sizes of organisation.
