Could you briefly introduce Müller and the work the organisation does?

Access to HE Diploma (Business Management)

This exciting new course is designed for people aged 17–18 and over who are eager to build their future in business.

It is perfect for anyone looking to start their own business, progress in their current role, or pursue a career in accounting, finance, HR, marketing, or management.

What will I study?

The modules in this course typically include:

SIA/Crowd Safety

Security services is one of the largest single sectors of employment in the UK, with regional and local security firms that hire and employ Security Guards, Stewards and Door Supervisors.

Whether you have always wanted to work in security, or it is a new career aspiration, this course is perfect for starting your journey.

We work closely with employers across the UK, who are looking for people like you, to support them at events. Whether it is Premier League football stadiums or national music festivals that you would like to work at, this course will give you the knowledge, skills and experience to work at live events.

What will I study?

The SIA Door Supervisor Course isn't just for those of you who want a job working the door of a nightclub. In fact, the course equips you for many types of security jobs: 

  • Emergency first aid at work
  • Certificate in Spectator Safety
  • Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry.

We will also provide you with a variety of hard and soft skills, such as:

  • Assist with the movement of spectators and deal with crowd issues 
  • Help to manage conflict 
  • Deal with incidents 
  • Radio communication
  • Confidence
  • Teamwork

    Progression Opportunities

On completion of this course, you will gain an interview with an organisation looking to recruit, or you can complete further training in a different industry.

Customer Service Taunton

Gain the basic knowledge and skills needed to work in customer service.

This qualification is the perfect opportunity to start your journey into a career in customer service. This 1-week course will enable you to communicate effectively, record and communicate customer problems, contribute to effective customer service, and understand legislation affecting the customer service sector.

English, GCSE

If you haven’t achieved your English GCSE, we can help you gain the qualification needed to take your career or education to the next step.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, this course will help you to improve your reading, writing, and communication skills to a level expected by employers.

This 32-week course has three hours of tuition per week – you can either study in the day or at in an evening class, whichever suits you best. You will be required to do a small amount of study at home in your own time.

This course will allow you to progress onto other college courses, where you can develop new skills.

Subjects/Topics Covered

We will cover a wide range of topics, all with the aim of improving your communication skills.

Some of the subjects we will cover include:

  • Influential writing
  • Compare ideas and perspectives
  • Communicate clearly, effectively and imaginatively
  • Communicating with different audiences
  • Organise information and ideas, using structural and grammatical features to support coherence and cohesion
  • Use a range of vocabulary and sentence structures for clarity, purpose and effect

  • Use spoken Standard English effectively in speeches and presentations

Assessment Method

You will complete two exams in June and four written assessments during class time.

This isn’t anything to worry about – we will run revision sessions in the build up to exams.

Once you have applied for this course, we will arrange a short interview with a tutor who will find out about your current level of understanding and your future ambitions to ensure you start on the course most appropriate for you.

CSCS Virtual

Gain the skills and qualifications needed to work as a labourer on a construction site! This course is for adults looking to start their journey into construction, by becoming a labourer.

Course Overview

On this course, you will have the opportunity to gain a CSCS Green Card (for labourers), which will increase your chances of gaining employment within the construction industry – with many construction companies only looking to hire people with a CSCS card.

CMI Operational Management, Diploma

The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Operational Management (HTQ) is a government-approved, Level 5 vocational qualification designed for middle managers, focusing on leading teams, managing projects, planning operations, and driving strategic goals. This course will allow you to develop your leadership skills whilst also preparing you for senior roles. This qualification benefits organisations through developing managers into effective, strategic leaders who can deliver tangible results for their organisations.

How it's Delivered:

This course is delivered by a mix of online and on campus sessions. The majority of the course is delivered via online lessons with Mindful Education and there are 8 face to face Masterclasses (approx. 1 per month during term time)

Funding:

  • Fee: £2500
  • This course is eligible for Advanced Learner Loans (ALLs) and transitioning to the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) from 2027.
  • Alternatively employers may choose to pay for the course fees as part of staff development CPD.

Entry requirements:

  • Must have GCSE English or Level 2
  • Must be in a middle management position
  • Must have a level 3 qualification or several years experience in a suitable managerial position
