As part of our strategy to support learners achieve their career goals, we ensure our learners are ‘Ready to learn, ready for work and ready for life’. We want our learners to enjoy their time with us and want to create an environment where learners thrive, and we can celebrate their successes alongside them.

Wear your lanyard at all times whilst on College premises.
Maintain excellent attendance Aim for 100%. Consistent attendance is crucial for learning, progression, and success in your studies and we know that learners with attendance below 95% may struggle to achieve in line with our minimum expectations. Any learner whose attendance falls below 90% automatically enters stage 1 of our attendance policy.
Be punctual Arrive on time to every lesson to show respect for your peers and tutors.
Display professional behaviours Act respectfully, responsibly, and with a positive attitude in all areas of college life.
Come prepared to every lesson Always bring essential equipment, including a pen and paper, and any required materials.
Engage fully in our ‘Ready for Work’ activities Whether this be an external work placement or the multitude of activities where our learners engage with employers, all of these are a vital part of your study programme and help build your employability skills.
Understand the importance of English and Maths These subjects are key to your success in all areas and are central to college expectations.
Use college support services Take advantage of learning support, careers and employability team guidance, as well as our accessing our welfare and wellbeing officers and campus officers to help you succeed.
Take responsibility for your learning Stay organised, meet deadlines, and actively participate.

No smoking or vaping in College Use the smoking shelters if you smoke or vape.
Keep College tidy Put your rubbish in the bin and leave classrooms tidy.
