PARENT HUB
At Weston College we recognise the important role parents and carers play in supporting students throughout their education journey. This Parent Hub is your go-to place for important information, resources and updates to help you stay connected with College life.
Whether you're looking for guidance on student expectations, term dates or upcoming events, you'll find everything you need right here.
The Parent Hub provides parents and carers with access to information
about their child's education, including:
1. Timetable
2. Attendance
3. Progress
4. Exam information
5. All central communications sent by the College
It is important that parents and carers check the available information
and attendance data regularly to help us support their child to
progress, achieve and exceed their potential.
College expectations for attendance are:
1. 100% attendance and 100% punctuality.
2. Any learner whose attendance drops below 90% will trigger Stage 1 of
the College's FE Student Attendance Policy.
3. All parents and carers (where details were provided at enrolment)
will be informed of any unauthorised absence.
Parent Hub is available to all parents and carers of learners enrolled on the College's full-time study programmes who were aged 18 or under at the start of the academic year.
1. Access permissions are granted by the learner. The learner must log
in to their OnTrack Learner Hub and add a contact.

6. Once the learner has added a contact, a member of the College's
administration team will confirm the account to prevent duplicate
accounts from being created.
7. Once confirmed, the parent or carer will receive an email from
Weston College inviting them to access Parent Hub.

FAQs
Once a learner adds permission for a parent/carer, the account needs to be confirmed by a member of our admin team. This is to ensure that no duplicate records are created. The invitation email will be sent as soon as the account has been confirmed.
If you’ve forgotten your password or entered an incorrect password too many times, you can reset the password from the log in screen. Click “Forgotten Password” and enter your email address used to create the account. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.
Parent Hub permissions are granted by the learner through the Learner Hub. Learners can remove/update the permissions at any time. If you previously had access but find you are no longer able to view your child’s information, discuss this with your child as they will need to re-enable your access through the Student Hub.
You can contact your child’s tutor directly to discuss their progress/attendance. All parents/carers of learners aged 18 or under at the time of enrolment are written to at the start of the academic year.
