- Gain a comprehensive understanding of various neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Trauma, Sight and Sound impairments, and more.
- Learn about the characteristics, strengths, and challenges associated with these variations from college professionals.
- Understand how neurodiverse minds perceive and interact with the world differently.
- Recognise the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment for neurodiverse individuals (staff and customers)
Identification and Support:
- Learn to identify common traits of neurodiverse variations and the types of support and accommodations that can be provided to support neurodivergent individuals through reasonable adjustments.
Inclusive Recruitment and Retainment of Staff:
- Inclusive Hiring Practices: Understand the principles of inclusive recruitment and how to apply them. Learn how to design job postings and interview processes that are accessible and appealing to neurodiverse candidates.
Retention Strategies:
- Developing strategies to retain neurodivergent employees legal requirements and the ethical importance of accommodating neurodivergent individuals.
Practical Implementation:
- Identify and apply practical adjustments and tools to support neurodiverse employees.
- Learn how to implement and monitor ongoing support effectively.
Building a Talent Pipeline:
- Develop strategies to create a talent pipeline for neurodivergent individuals. Learn how to collaborate with educational institutions and organisations to support neurodivergent talent.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Improve skills in collaborating with others to address challenges and create inclusive strategies.
- Enhance communication skills when discussing neurodiversity and mental health in the workplace
