Last week, Weston College opened its doors to new and returning students as they embarked on the start of the new academic year.
Over three days, each CEH area welcomed first-year students with a wide variety of activities designed to help them settle in, build friendships, and get familiar with both their learning environment and the tools they’ll be using throughout their studies.

Echoes of the Stage, an Original Weston College Production
On 6th June, our Performing Arts students came together to perform Echoes of the Stage at The Playhouse Theatre, an original production that incorporated a range of legendary musicals theatre numbers from existing Broadway and West End shows across different eras.

Performing Arts Students Take a Once-in-a-Lifetime Trip to New York City

Last month, Weston College was lucky enough to gain funding from the Turing Scheme to take our Performing Arts students on a 15-day trip to New York City, where students not only got to experience all the sights of a big city, but also got to take part in many activities and attractions that have furthered their skills and knowledge of the industry.
Students Participate in Immersive Emergency Response Simulation Event!
Last Thursday, our Protective Services lecturers, Nicola Stent and David Usher, hosted a highly impactful and collaborative event involving students from Protective Services, Performing Arts, and UCW Hair, Makeup, and Prosthetics. With expert guidance from Tara O'Hare, a lecturer in Hair, Makeup, and Prosthetics, this exciting simulation provided learners with real-world, practical experience in emergency response scenarios.
