This one-year ScreenSkills accredited course allows you to creatively explore the world of fifilm, television, and the wider media industry. With award-winning, industry-current lecturers, industry-standard technology, and a professional TV Studio, it provides the perfect platform to start your career journey into the industry.
We give you the freedom to venture outside the classroom and capture the world. The course has been accredited for being very industry focused and by this end of the course you will be industry and/or University ready.

This programme offers you the opportunity to be very ‘hands on’ and really engage with all elements of the media process. You will also explore key concepts and theories to ensure that your media products will meet the needs of their intended audience.
Asessment Method
Your assessments will be entirely coursework based, so is perfect if you perform better when developing and testing your creativity practically and in written assignments. This could be in the form of:
- Blogs
- Presentations
- Audio and Video Presentations
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 GCSE at grade 9-2 with at least 2 grades at grade 4, or a qualifying level 1 qualification.
Keen interest in:
- Film
- Television
- Passion for the industry.
Not necessary to have experience in- but a bonus:
- Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop and Premier Pro)
- Video cameras (Sony, Cannon, Panasonic)
