Re-Engage
A starting point to prepare learners to start college if they have been out of education for some time, NEET or have barriers to learning. The programme is flexible and learners can build their own timetable when they feel ready and can display ready to learn behaviours. Provides opportunities to have fun, work in small groups, develop communication skills, develop confidence when sharing ideas with others, raise self-esteem and prepare for a full time college course.
The sessions may cover:
- Group discussions
- Team building activities
- Cooking
- Gym sessions
- Infill in to level 1 vocational courses
- Community and enterprise projects
- Small group or 1:1 maths & English sessions.
Additional Costs
NA.
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements are needed within Foundation learning. All learner’s are considered on an individual basis and matched to a course that is best placed to meet their needs and support their outcomes and move them towards their aspirations.
