What will I study?
The programme is a two-year course and provides a more in depth look into the tourism sector including:

How will I be assessed?
The course has 2 exams, with the other 11 units being coursework based.
The course is 60% coursework. Foundation work in the first year and the second year is applying those techniques.
Entry requirements
Min 5 GCSE grade 9-4 or a qualifying level 2 qualification. Must have one of Maths OR English
Must show an interest in the subject area – potential careers
Progression
Likely progressions from this course include work at the airport, cabin crew roles, jobs with local tourist providers and holiday rep roles.
Timetable
Four days a week, with some half days depending on learners needs to complete Maths or English.

Trips
Trips are planned based on demand, with a large foreign residential likely once every two years trips in the past have been to New York.
There are local trips such as Thorpe Park, Travel Mendip Activity Centre where you partake in free activities and Winter Wonderland.
A lot of work experience takes place at the airport where you can get involved in a multitude of roles.
