The UAL Extended Diploma in Art, Design & Communication is a vocational course designed to prepare you for further study or employment in the creative industries. You will explore areas such as fine art, graphic design, photography, illustration, and digital media, while developing your personal style and creative thinking.
Our purpose-built facilities include dedicated studios, workshops, and digital suites, where you can access professional-standard equipment and software.
As part of our Creative Career Excellence Hub, you will have access to a wide range of enrichment and professional development opportunities designed to prepare you for a successful future in the creative sector. You will complete work experience within the creative industries, with the College supporting you in securing a suitable placement.
Throughout your course, you’ll take part in exhibitions and showcase events, giving you the chance to present your work to real audiences and develop confidence in your creative practice. You will also benefit from inspiring educational visits to local and national museums and galleries – including Bristol, Oxford, and London – alongside residential trips that broaden your horizons and enrich your artistic development.
