Project Management Apprentice at OXFORD INSTRUMENTS PLC
Project Management Apprentice responsibilities will include the coordination and completion of projects on time within scope. Oversee aspects of projects. Agree deadlines and, responsibilities, whilst monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects. Prepare reports for the department manager regarding status of project.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Report creation, team formation, and launch of investigations.
- Provide support to the customer service teams with reference Field Changes.
- 8D meeting cadence and facilitation.
- Practical problem solving.
- Adopt and drive/ be an advocate of Zero Defects culture.
- Drive consistent weekly corrective action team reviews.
- Support multi-functional teams participating in evidence-based decision-making.
- Input and maintain the site quality fault reporting database.
- Support the relevant functions regarding quality non-conformance reporting and resolution.
- Contribute to measurement systems evaluation and analysis.
- Co-ordinate and input the Non-Conformance Management System as follows:
- Generate product quality performance indicators - KPI’s.
- Problem solving activities by establishing clear problem definition, root cause analysis, customer protection and corrective and preventative action.
- Support investigations into customer reported quality concerns.
- Where necessary, interface with the Engineering, Procurement, Design and Assembly departments on quality issues in the supply chain.

The program is designed to focus on your professional development and covers a breadth of competencies to support your journey to becoming chartered with a recognized industry body; APM, RICS, or CIOB
- In addition to this, we will look to understand and develop your area of interest, such as Sustainability, Modern Methods of Construction, Social Value, or Smart buildings, to allow you to develop a specialism, to stay at the forefront of the latest industry trends and establish your point of difference from the rest of the profession
