Alasdair
Professional Vocational Lecturer
My career in Motor Vehicle started working with car modifications, repairing and building track cars. When I was 28, I decided to up-skill at Weston College. Now I’m a fully trained Motor Vehicle lecturer of 6 years!
What inspires me the most about working in education is seeing each individual learner achieve to the best of their ability and see them become the best they can be throughout their journey at Weston College.
My advice for any learners would be to engage to the best of your ability. Focus on why you are here, reflect on your practices and constantly push yourself to achieve the most you can each day and always give it your all! Always push yourself above and beyond your limits. Step out of your comfort zone and be thirsty for more knowledge! Aspire to be the best version of you, never settle for anything less that you can achieve; the only limiting factor, is your own imagination and resilience.
Here at Weston College the learning never stops. We continue to train beyond the scope of college. We run EV and Hybrid courses, MOT Managers and Testers qualifications, FGAS Training and Certification. You don’t just gain qualifications here, you up-skill beyond to help further secure your future!
