I hold a Master's Degree with Distinction in Cyber Security. Since 2006 I have worked in various senior management roles from Quality Assurance to Cyber specific roles in an array of businesses, both public and private sectors. I have developed and managed several of my own business from conception to sale including various B2B applications. I have ranked in the top 25 on Hack the Box and also classed as a Guru on the platform. 

Cyber Security is quickly becoming a buzz word in the world of technology and for good reason. It is one of the most diverse and fast moving sectors within tech and ultimately security is power! It’s fun to break things and learn how to stop things from being broken and ultimately if you understand how to make something safe and secure you understand the fundamentals of that something!

The best way for you to get a valuable experience at college is to be disciplined, focused and do something you're passionate about! 

The Computing and Digital industry is whatever you want it to be. Even low level roles in cyber are interesting and pay well. The industry is crying out for suitably qualified practitioners and if you want to move up the ladder and make good money you certainly can!

Be prepared to be tested and push yourself. Cyber covers a vast array of subjects and you need to be ready to expand yourself. Prepare by using platforms like Hack the Box and TryHackMe. Get ready to have some fun!
