"The college organised lots of amazing experiences for us with specialist guest lecturers on sepsis, home care, nutrition and bee therapy - however the absolute highlight was taking part in covid-19 testing and giving out covid vaccines - it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. This led to my tutor nominating me for the BTEC student of the year award - this gave me such a confidence boost.

Having 1:1 support from an autism practitioner when I felt stressed or struggled to express my feelings is something that has helped me give the best of me."
