“I chose the Business Extended Diploma course because it offered a range of units that gave me an insight into the business world. Also Weston College’s Careers Excellence Hub for Business meant I experienced trips and business opportunities – the international trip to New York was a major highlight of the course as it provided a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the business world from a different perspective.

Recruitment Resourcer, Apprenticeship

A career in recruitment provides the opportunity for reward and high earning potential. The Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship has been designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to thrive in the fast-paced world of recruitment. You’ll play a vital role in identifying and attracting talented candidates, supporting the recruitment process, and assisting in building successful teams within organisations.

Business, Extended Certificate

This course offers a broad introduction to the world of business, giving you the chance to explore key areas like finance, marketing, and starting your own business.

It provides a mix of classroom learning and practical experiences, helping you build the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto higher-level study or move into the workplace.

The course is split into different units allowing learners to explore different areas of Business. E.g.

This nationally recognised professional qualification is suitable for existing human resource practitioners and people wanting to move into a career in human resources/people practice roles. It is also valuable for line managers, supervisors and team leaders who would like a recognised qualification to support and enhance their HR/people practice responsibilities.

You’ll study 4 core units:

Business, Management and Leadership, T Level

Kickstart your business career with this practical course covering finance, management, relationship-building, and project skills. You’ll gain real insight into how businesses operate and develop the leadership and teamwork abilities employers value most.

With industry placements at top companies like Lloyds and Mercedes, plus exciting trips from London to New York, you’ll build experience, confidence, and a strong foundation for a successful career or degree apprenticeship.

My name is Leigh-Anne and I am the General Manager for OCS at Bristol Airport, looking after the Airside Coaching and PRM (Passengers with Reduced Mobility) Contracts.

We support customers every day, and we provide as much or as little assistance through the airport journey as passengers require. We aim to make travelling through the airport and onto the aircraft as smooth and stress free as possible.
