Bricklayer Apprenticeship at BRICK PEERS LIMITED

Daily Duties:

  • Ensuring work areas have been left clean and tidy.

  • Cleaning, maintenance and storage of materials and equipment.

  • Attend College on a day release basis, and undertake additional training as requested.

  • Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) where needed.

  • Use all tools, equipment and materials safely and in accordance with instructions and COSHH regulations.

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleague, customers and managers.

We are based in Wells, Somerset and employ over 40 operatives specialising in not only Masonry but also Carpentry & Plumbing works. We are one of the leading exponents of contract brickwork and natural stonework, throughout our history we have been dedicated to quality and understand that our future lies in our ability to provide the highest level of service, providing value to our clients. At Brick Peers we realise that it is essential to have a good quality management systems if we are to maintain and improve the good service we offer our clients and in recognition of this we have been awarded: - Contract brickwork Natural stonework.

Bricklayer Level 2 Qualification.

  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English if not already obtained. 
  • One day a week required to attend Weston College. 
  • CSCS Card available through Weston College.

Full-time employment with the team.
