Daily Duties include:

  • Engaging with the children.
  • Admin – EYFS, planning and learning diaries.
  • Ensuring resources are planned and stocked.
  • Assisting at mealtimes with the children.
  • Feeding back to parents about the child’s day.
  • Cleaning and prepping for the next day.
  • Your time will be spent ensuring the children feel safe and secure.
  • Changing nappies.

BUSY BUDDIES DAYCARE LTD

Busy Buddies Day Care is a new nursery opened in September 2020, we are a friendly team offering places from ages 3 months to 5 years, we are open from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, closed bank holidays and a week at Christmas. The nursery is surrounded by lovely scenery of cows / sheep in the fields right next to the nursery, where the children can go and see the cows. The children can be outside most of the day – weather permitted; we also have our own forest school. The children have plenty of outdoor play, where they can explore all the different environments.

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Functional skills in maths and English – if applicable and depending on your prior attainments and being able to provide evidence of these.
  • 1 day per week at college.
  • Observations to be completed in the workplace to assess competence.
  • End Point Assessment.
  • Full time position may be offered to the right candidate within the nursery once you have completed your course.
