Finance Officer Apprentice at LIBERATA UK LIMITED

As an apprentice with Liberta, you will gain practical skills and knowledge in finance and accountancy, as well as exposure to various systems and process used throughout the industry. This role works under the day-to-day guidance of the Senior Finance Officer for Direct Payments & Social Care Finance.

Daily Duties:

  • To work under the direction of the line manager to administer queries and payment runs in relations to Direct Payments and Social Care Payment Streams
  • Reconcile and report spend via client bank statements
  • Proactively handle enquiries, delivering excellent customer service by responding to all queries within agreed service level agreements
  • Proactively work with alongside North Somerset Council in-house teams
  • Update and maintain relevant finance and accounting systems
  • Review and update procedure guides ensuring continuous process improvement
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to colleagues, members of the public and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and associated codes or practices, and to complete regular online training sessions

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Qualification
  • Regular workshops and meetings with assigned assessors
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if GCSE Grade 4+ if not yet obtained)
  • A permanent position may be available on successful completion of the qualification
