Accounts Assistant, Apprenticeship

Take the next step in your finance career with the Level 3 Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship, designed to develop advanced accounting skills and practical experience. This apprenticeship is perfect if you want to work in finance departments, bookkeeping, or accounting roles, combining hands-on workplace learning with structured study to prepare you for progression in the financial sector.

Access to HE Diploma (Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Professions)

This course is designed for people aged 17–18 who are keen to take their first steps towards a career in the NHS or with another health provider. It is also ideal for those considering a change of career and wanting to gain the knowledge and skills needed to work in these fields.

I.T Skills Refresher (Intermediate - 5 days)

This 5-day course is designed to help you strenghen your confidence and ability to use Microsoft programs, such as Word and Teams, in particular work-related ways.

During this course, you’ll learn how to update and format your CV professionally, organise files so you can find what you need quickly. Attach documents while writing clear effective emails.

You’ll also discover how to create engaging presentations that make an impact and use teams confidently for virtual meetings and online courses.

Bitesize – Communication & Customer Service Workshop

This 2-day course develops confidence in communication, customer service and interview skills for workplace success!

It covers professional presentation, body language and techniques for clear and effective interactions with colleagues and customers.

Participants will gain practical strategies to express themselves with confidence in interviews and everyday workplace situations.

Leadership & Management

This 5 day course has been designed as initial training for aspiring team leaders, supervisors, managers or persons in leadership and management roles without any prior training. This is an unaccredited course and provides an initial toolkit without lengthy assignments or exams.

Awareness of Safeguarding & Prevent in the Workplace

This qualification is intended to introduce participants to the concept of safeguarding and the Prevent duty. By the end of the course participants will understand the basic principles, the signs of abuse and neglect alongside the methods of abuse. They will also know their responsibilities around safeguarding and the Prevent Duty and the responsibilities of their own organisation.

Who is the training for?

This training is ideal for anyone working with children, young people and vulnerable adults (potentially in care, childcare or education), in particular those in management or supervisory roles (possibly managing 16–18-year-old apprentices) and would be applicable to people in roles associated with wellbeing and pastoral support roles. Others who may benefit from this training could be Human Resouces personnel, receptionists or front desk staff who are often a first point of contact.

What you will Learn:

  • Understand basic safeguarding context and principles
  • Understand signs of, indicators and methods of abuse and neglected
  • Understand safeguarding in the context of your own organisation
  • Understand the basic principles of the Prevent Duty
