You will be able to collect your results from 9:00 - 12:00 from the Arosfa Building, Lower Church Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2AG (Opposite Knightstone Campus).

HGV Cat C Weston

General Information Session – Mandatory

Date: 25/6/2025

Time: 13:00

Location: South West Skills Campus – Locking Road – BS22 8NL

At the session, learners will have the opportunity to meet their tutor and receive a comprehensive rundown of the course structure, content, and expectations. To ensure a smooth enrolment process, it's vital that all learners bring their Driver's License and National Insurance (NI) number for verification purposes. Please remember, attendance at this session is a crucial part of securing your spot on the course. While we appreciate your interest and application, we must reiterate that a space is not guaranteed until you have fully completed the enrolment process and attended this introductory session. Confirmation of your place will only be provided at the conclusion of this session, so your presence and participation are essential.

Part 1 Transport and Logistics

Location: South West Skills Campus – Locking Road – BS22 8NL

Date: starts on Monday 30th June 2025

Time: 9:00 - 14:30

Content to be covered in 3 weeks

  • Transport and Logistics (2weeks)
  • Certificate in skills for working in Transport and Logistics Environment

Visit to the Driver Training Centre

  • Medical Assessment Day
  • Sit in our HGV
  • Guest Speaker “A Day in a life of HGV Driver”
  • Apply for your provisional driving license
  • DTS Training (This is the platform you use for your theory learning) Q&A session

Practical training will be booked once the following has been completed:

  • Passed Medical assessment
  • Received provisional licence
  • 35 Hours of Online Driving Theory (DTS Anytime)
  • Passed Theory Tests 1A, 1B and 2

Part 2 Practical Training- Construction Training Centre

Location: Construction Training Centre Locking Head -

  • 20 Hours Driver Training
  • 4 hours Reversing
  • 4 hours of Module 4 training and Test
  • Driver CPC

This programme is perfect for learners passionate about a career in the Civil Service. This 1-week Virtual course is designed to give you more awareness and understanding of Autism and ADHD.

The course explains how ideas about autism and ADHD theories have evolved and explores diagnosis, causes and common misconceptions associated with autism and ADHD as well as conditions that can co-occur.

During the programme you will cover the following:

Yuliia has now progressed from entry level to Level 1.

Caroline
