Lily

Lily’s time at college has been transformative. After a difficult school experience and low confidence, she initially struggled with attendance, but through perseverance she completely turned things around.

She re-engaged with her studies, achieved GCSE Maths, and gained her vocational qualification with a Distinction.

Lily has grown into a confident young chef with creativity and professionalism. She now represents the Hospitality department at events and inspires others through her resilience. Lily has successfully progressed onto Level 2.

Toby has shown outstanding commitment and growth at Weston College. With perfect attendance, rising confidence, and strong academic progress, he now aims for Level 3 Catering. Excelling in his part-time job, he sets a positive example and inspires others through his determination and ambition.

Floristry, Certificate

Entry Requirements

You must have an interest in the floristry industry and to be able to work creatively. Please be advised that there are written aspects of the course which are mandatory and require independent study for. You are also advised to have a high level of English due to content of the course. There are no formal requirements for Maths.

Additional Information

Requirements will be discussed weekly. This will include items such as foliage and flowers, these can be at a budget level. You are required to bring an apron and scissors each week.

A certificate in Floristry could help you to get a job as:

  • An Assistant Florist
  • A Wedding Flower Arranger
  • A Funeral Home Flower Arranger
  • A Flower Shop Supervisor/Manager.
