Evie

Evie has shown outstanding creativity, resilience, and commitment, consistently meeting challenges with enthusiasm. A supportive role model, she fosters inclusion, helps peers build confidence, and strengthens the college community through her empathy and leadership. Balancing studies, work, and student representation, she demonstrates maturity, dedication, and a lasting positive impact.

Where are they now?

Evie is now studying on the Level 4 Foundation in Art and Design to prepare her for the BA (Hons) in Art and Design at University Centre Weston.

Dan

Dan approached the UAL Level 3 Music Performance and Production course with professionalism from day one. Despite starting with no prior knowledge, he flourished, developing strong production skills and completing all tasks with maturity and commitment. Alongside his studies, he progressed as a graded pianist and achieved Grade 5 theory.

He is a supportive, well-liked member of the group, always ready to help others and get involved in events. Polite, focused, and reliable, Dan is now continuing his Music Production journey at university.

Ellie

Ellie achieved a triple D star (the best possible grade), with 100% attendance, she demonstrated exceptional dedication to her studies and inspiring support for her peers. Her energetic personality made her a pleasure to teach and brightened the classroom.

Ellie significantly contributed to the Business Enterprise Project, raising over £650 for Weston Hospicecare, and presented her group’s innovative Lip Gloss Keychains to the Lord Lieutenant and Principal.

Ellie is now working at Camp America but has retained her job at Bristol Airport as a Customer Care Agent.

Tasneem

Tasneem shows remarkable resilience, restarting her education in the UK and excelling academically. She contributes through charity work, creating items for RAG week, supporting open evenings, and serving as a respectful, empathetic peer tutor who helps classmates improve - making her an inspiring role model for others.

Jessica

Jess has shown exceptional growth on the Level 3 Engineering course, overcoming confidence barriers to become a determined, ambitious, and supportive team member. Her resilience and willingness to help others inspired her peers, while outstanding Distinction grades reflect her hard work, progress, and well-deserved success.

Toby

Toby’s journey is truly inspirational. After leaving Weston College after a difficult start, he courageously rejoined the Plastering course, achieving distinctions, exceptional attendance, and remarkable personal growth. His resilience, dedication, and contributions to college initiatives make him a role model and positive influence on the community.

Callum

Callum progressed from a Level 2 programme to the Digital Production, Design and Development T Level, excelling academically. During his Lloyds Banking Group placement, he developed a software tool now used by their data team and won the South West T Level Placement of the Year.

Where are they now?

Callum is now a Degree Apprentice with Lloyds Banking Group.

Olivia

Olivia joined the Level 2 Creative Media Production course and has demonstrated remarkable growth in confidence, creativity, and technical skill. Specialising in cinematography, she has developed a distinctive visual style, thoughtful composition, and strong storytelling ability.

Her final film being screened at Cineworld alongside degree-level work. This highlights her talent, professionalism, and creative maturity.

Izzy

Izzy overcame significant challenges with English and past setbacks to finally achieve full Level 2 Functional Skills. Through determination, support, and persistent effort, she progressed in her bricklaying course, showing commitment, resilience, and a positive, supportive attitude toward her peers.

Where are they now?

Izzy is now studying on the Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying.
