Preparing People to Work in Adult Social Care, Certificate
Enhance your skills and knowledge, to either start your journey to a career in the Adult Social Care sector, or upskill. The course is accredited by the NCFE and is recognised by employers across the UK.
Throughout the course, you will be taught through a combination of theoretical learning and practical assessments, which will help you to develop your knowledge, skills, and confidence in working with vulnerable adults. There will also be opportunities to gain work experience.
Upon completion of the course, students can progress to further qualifications in the Adult Social Care sector, including the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or an apprenticeship in health or adult care at level two or three. Alternatively, they can seek employment in a range of different job roles within the sector, such as Care Assistant.

Students will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence that includes a combination of written assignments, practical assessments, and examinations.

Learners need to hold a related subject at level 1 or hold 5 GCSEs a grade 9-2 or equivalent with at least two at grade 4. Learners with relevant industry experience who do not hold the entry criteria can be considered for a place on the course.
