Art and Design, UAL Diploma
The Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design provides an opportunity to experiment with a range of different disciplines within an art and design pathway. You will work with a wide range of art and design materials, techniques and processes in our subject-specialist studios and workshops with the introduction of contextual studies.
This programme will support you to identify your personal strengths and your area of interest for progression to study at Level 3. As part of this study programme you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID). You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement.
All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical projects in studios and workshops, and written assignments.
What could I do after this course?
You could progress to a creative Level 3 Extended Diploma.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9-2 with at least two at grade 4, or a qualifying Level 1 qualification, plus a strong portfolio of work and a successful interview.
