What does the course involve?
Your work is likely to include handling day-to-day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; working with the business on HR changes.
You will typically take ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues, using company policy and current law, giving compliance guidance to avoid errors that could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.
As part of this apprenticeship, you can also gain a CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice - it will also include a CIPD membership fee of £178 which is payable by either yourself or your employer.
How will the course be assessed?
The end-point assessment will consist of two main components - a consultative project of approximately 3,000 words, and a professional discussion that will explore specific skills and behaviours.
